Backburner Labs is the product of a handful of engineers of different backgrounds, different specialties, and different professional paths, who languished for the opportunity to work on projects that generally were left on the back burner. In our experience, we collectively came to the conclusion that our individual projects were so devoted to “what should” without leaving room for “what could.” So, we proactively decided instead of facing inevitable burn out as individuals, why don’t we band together and create something that aligns with what makes us tick. And in 2019, Backburner Labs was sparked into existence.
